Wow! Is it May already?! I can't believe how fast the spring is flying by... The weather in Austin has been beautiful and we've been doing everything we can to spend time outside. Yesterday, there was a Celebration of Families at the Palmer Events Center in Austin. We took the girls, and Lily's friend Gwenny down there to check it out. It was so fun! The girls had their faces painted and we made several different craft projects (necklaces, newspaper hats and paper dolls). There was a steel drum band playing and a lot of booths set up with information for families. They also had a petting zoo! The petting zoo was very fun because they had baby bunnies, baby chickens, baby pigs, ducks and goats. All three of the girls just love it and they got to hold the bunnies. Too fun!
Today, we did some yard work. Lily and Madeline just love to help! Madeline is my outdoor adventure girl. She's definitely happiest outside and LOVES to dig her fingers in the dirt. We cleared out some grass and weeds from our flower bed our front and planted some star jasmine. When the planting was done, we turned on the sprinklers to water the new plants. Lily got to run through the sprinklers. She got soaked! She was all muddy and dripping wet when she was done, but boy did she have a good time!
Below are some pictures that I've been meaning to post. Enjoy!
Scott with Madeline, check out her new hair do! Her hair is getting too long to leave it down, so I've been pulling it up into pig tails. I think it's adorable because they stick straight up!

Madeline mixed her vermicelli noodles with ranch dressing and came up with a very sticky and messy dinner.
We are big fans of Fancy Nancy. Here's Lily in her own version of a Fancy Nancy outfit.

Well, I'm 33 weeks! I'm getting big and uncomfortable. Lily was born at 36 weeks and Madeline was born at 38. I guess I'm hoping this one will be somewhere between.

Madeline out for some outside exploring.

I think Lily was trying to take a picture of Madeline's hair. Lily loves to take pictures with her camera.
