Portrait Innovations

We had pictures taken today at Portrait Innovations. I'm so pleased! There are hundreds of shots, too many to post. Here are some of my favorites!

Life with 3 kids...

Below are some pictures from the first week home with Wyatt. Enjoy!

My little baby had some jaundice, so we kept him in the sunlight.

We got a little climber and playhouse for the girls to play on. Mommy needed some backyard activities to keep the girls busy at home!

Wyatt had to spend some time under lights at home.
Papa Dennis built a light for Wyatt to stay under.

Wyatt Has Arrived!

Wyatt Eugene Caudle was born on Saturday, June 7th at 11:33 am. He weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 21 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great! We're so excited to have him home!

My labor really began on Friday night, but it was mild and gentle. I was able to sleep through it. At about 6:30 am on Saturday, things started to get serious! I woke up Scott and said it was time to go! We called Dennis and Marcia and they came over to stay with Lily and Madeline. When we got to the hospital (about 7:00), I was 5 cm and my contractions were 2 to 3 minutes apart. Things progressed and Wyatt was born at 11:33 am. We stayed in the hospital for just over 24 hours, and so we've been home since early afternoon on Sunday.

It's been a busy week of adjusting. Lily and Madeline are really doing great. Lily is very helpful and very excited about her little brother. She's decided it's her job to keep him safe from Madeline. Madeline has been pretty good too. She has some strong emotions that she doesn't quite know how to deal with, but we're doing our best to help her. It's really wonderful that Scott has taken the week off. Both of the girls love having him home (and me too!).

Wyatt has black curly hair! Of course, we don't know if it will stay that way, but it's very cute! He's really ticklish on his feet, which comes in handy when I'm trying to nurse him and he won't stay awake. We've had a couple of good nights and a couple of not so good ones. It will take some time to get days and nights adjusted. Wyatt has been dealing with some jaundice this week, so we've had a trip to the pediatrician every day. Today, we got the news that we are on the road to recovery, so we will NOT be needing to hospitalize him, which makes me sooo happy.

Anyway, below are some pictures from his first day. I'll post more soon!

No baby yet!

Well, I'm still pregnant! Today, I am 37 weeks and 4 days. Madeline was born at exactly 38 weeks and Lily was born at 36 weeks and 1 day. So, I'm feeling like it could be any day now... Although, I've heard that little boys are more reluctant to leave the womb. We'll see. I'm feeling okay, but very pregnant. Last Friday, I had my OB check up and I was dilated to 3 cm. I hope labor will be soon and fast!

Saturday, May 31st (37 weeks 1 day)

Pictures from school

Today was Lily's last day of school! She's really enjoyed preschool and I'm sure she's going to miss it. She will have 5 weeks off and the she will go for 2 summer sessions before she starts the fall semester. Today, her teacher Ms. Ann gave each child a cd with pictures from the class. Below are all of the pictures that Lily was in.

Lily LOVES to paint! She comes home each day with 3 or 4 paintings.
