Lily's Dance Recital

Last weekend was Lily's dance recital.  It was so adorable!  I thought it was well organized and very enjoyable.  Lily performed in 2 numbers.  She danced in the Ballet Folkloriko dance and in a a tap number where she wore a chef costume.  She was so excited to perform and she did a great job.  Here are some pics:

Catching Up!

Wow, it's been a month!  I haven't posted in ages...  This post is meant to just catch up.  I will do a separate post for Lily's recital and for our recent trip to Jamaica.

We are doing great!  Life is so fun :)  I've been working really hard on losing weight and I've been successful!  I'm back into the same size clothes I was before I got pregnant with Lily and I am so thrilled.  I think Jamaica set me back a little, but I hope to be back on track soon.  I'm feeling so good!

Wyatt isn't walking just yet.  He stands up unassisted all the time and he is taking steps.  Sometimes 5 or 6 at a time.  But, he still prefers to crawl.

The girls are doing great too.  Getting big!  Madeline is potty trained!  She pretty much did it on her own.  She was asking to go to the bathroom so much, that I offered for her to wear panties, and she agreed.  And, that was that!  My precious treasure!

We had a little pedicure party.  Even Wyatt wanted to get in on the action!

Wyatt had his buddy Noah over to play.  I think he really liked having another boy his age over.  The two of them just crawled around and got into stuff together.  It was so cute to watch!  They both like to play with the wheels on pretty much anything that has them.

On Mother's Day weekend, I took Lily to see her first ballet.  We went to Ballet Austin's Cinderella.  My friend Cheryl and her daughter Gwenny went too.  The four of us went out to lunch together first and then to the ballet.  I think Lily really enjoyed it!  Of course, she had to wear her white dress with the blue satin sash.  An I got into a dress that I haven't worn in years!

We took the kids to a Celebration of Families festival.  They had a ball!  There were baby bunnies and chicks that the kids could pet and hold.  They also got to play in a big card board maze.  There were tons of crafts and live music by the Biscuit Brothers.  All for free!
