A Corpus Christi Christmas

This year, we spent Christmas with Scott's sister's family in Corpus Christi. The kids had a ball! I have a few pictures from Christmas Eve... I didn't take many pictures and I haven't yet seen the pictures from everyone else. I'm hoping to get a copy soon, when I do, I'll post them.

Here's the line-up. Everyone is wearing their new Christmas Eve PJ's.

Under the Zilker Tree

We went to see the Zilker Tree this year. The kids loved it! It's an Austin tradition. The Zilker Tree is made of lights and you can walk under it. Kids love to spin around while looking up and get very dizzy. It was a beautiful night, warm temperatures and we were lucky to get there when it wasn't too busy. I think we've found a new tradition for our family!

Ballet Austin's Nutcracker

This year, Lily and I went to see Ballet Austin's production of The Nutcracker. It was beautiful! We really enjoyed it.

I just love this picture of my silly kids!

LEAVES

Just some fun shots of the kids helping Scott rake the leaves in the back yard.

BIG MESS!

I have a ton of pics to share from December... I'm so behind!

We got a box of presents sent from Arizona and with the presents came all of these peanuts... My kids knew exactly what to do with them!! Have you ever tried to clean up packing peanuts? They are full of static and they don't fit in the vacuum cleaner. Thank goodness for my father-in-law! He brought his shop vac over... It was a night where Scott and I were both out for something and Dennis and Marcia were babysitting the kids. By the time I got home (hours later), Dennis was using his shop vac to vacuum out my vacuum cleaners (I had originally tried to use them to clean up the peanuts). Dennis has an unusual talent for extremely detailed tasks, he used that talent perfectly in this clean up.
