Well, we did it! I signed Lily up for Preschool. She started on January 8th. I was sooo nervous to leave her. We've never done anything like this before. Of course there were some tears on the first day, both from Lily and from me. But, we made it through. Lily's teacher told me that it couldn't have gone better. She was a little weepy for about 5 minutes and then she was fine. She participated in every activity and was a ball of excitement when I came back to pick her up. She wanted to show me everything about her school. It was wonderful!
On the second day, I expected a little bit of crying but I was totally wrong! As soon as we got into the classroom, Lily told me she wanted to paint and went to put the smock on right away. When it was time for me to leave, she just said "bye mom!" and that was it! What a big girl!!
