I can't believe it, my baby is TWO! Wyatt's birthday was on June 7th. The girls and I baked him a cake and we celebrated at home with Papa Dennis and Grandma Marcia. Wyatt was thrilled. He seems to know that he's a big boy now! I'm having a hard time letting my baby grow up, but I guess it's going to happen whether I'm ready or not.
I'm going to take this minute to tell you how smart my little boy it. Oh My Goodness! (of course, I'm not biased AT ALL!) This kid is putting together puzzles that say ages 4+. He can sit and work on something for 20 minutes or more sometimes. He gets on our computer and knows how to pull up PBS kids and clicks on his favorite games (Martha Speaks, Clifford, etc.) and plays them. He hardly ever asks for help. I am so impressed.

There is a sweet story to go with the little Thomas The Train that is featured in the picture below. Once, while Lily and I were at CVS filling a prescription, Lily saw a Thomas the Train bath toy. She immediately thought that Wyatt should have it. I didn't want to buy it for him that day, so we talked about how much it cost ($10) and that maybe it would be a good birthday present. Later, when we were home, Lily ran up to her room and found her purse with her birthday money in it. She brought it to me and wanted to know how much she had left. She had $15 left. She was excited because that was enough to buy Wyatt the Thomas bath toy. So, when his birthday was getting closer, I took Lily up to CVS and she bought the Thomas toy for Wyatt with her own money. It was the sweetest thing! It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about how big her little heart is. She let me help her wrap it and she was so excited to give it to him on his birthday.

Papa and Gram gave Wyatt a remote control car. It's awesome! It's soft, so when he runs it into mom's feet or the furniture or his sisters, no body is hurt. It flips over! It can go forward or backward. It's great!!

I love this picture!
