Hello Blog! It's been forever... I've missed you and I hope you've missed me too. I feel a bit overwhelmed by the idea of catching up all of the time I've missed. I think that feeling has been part of what has kept me away for so long...Here's a fairly recent picture of the kids. This was taken in April during a visit with the cousins in Corpus Christi. I just love it. I think it captures each of their natural smiles. Cuties!
Here are some of the things we've done since my last blog post...
Thanksgiving in Corpus Christi with the Caudles... Christmas in Show Low with the Hosley's (there was snow!)... We sold our house on Rocky Ford (currently, we are homeless, more on that later)... Lily finished Kindergarten with flying colors!... The kids and I spent a month in Show Low...
Scott flew out to Arizona at the end of June to help drive us back to Austin. We are all now in Austin and living with Dennis and Marcia. All of our furniture is in storage. We have with us some clothes and a few toys. In about 2 weeks, we are going to board an airplane and move to Singapore! Our plan is to be there for 2 years and then to return to Austin. Our days are busy right now filling out paper work and getting the details settled for this big move. I've got Lily and Madeline registered at the Australian International School Singapore. Everything is coming together.
I plan to use this blog as my online journal of our adventures. I'm really excited to have this opportunity with my family. We plan to make the most of it.
